All states require a customer/clinician interaction before a prescription can be issued. In states where customers are currently able to purchase a CGM, the customer/clinician interaction can happen through messaging and the fee for the messaging interaction is $20. In the future, customers residing in states that require a customer/clinician video visit will also be able to purchase a CGM and the fee for the video visit will be $40. States requiring a video visit include Arkansas, Delaware, District of Columbia, Kansas, Mississippi, New Mexico, Rhode Island, Vermont, and West Virginia.

In most states, the price for a telehealth review is $20 and does not require you to speak directly to a doctor or nurse practitioner. In other states, a consultation with a doctor or nurse practitioner is required via online video with a price of $40.
