• This is a standard size for tablets. Most companies that make tablets has at least on model that is this size. I replaced an old tablet with almost no battery life left with my shiny new digiland. It fit right in the old cover I had for my old tablet. So you have lots of choices available from many makers of tablet covers. Kid proof? Depends on the kid and the level of protection you think you need. Does your kid have access to a screwdriver and a hammer? Then no, probably not. Just search for: 10.1 tablet cover and you will find a selection including a few by SaharaCase that are labeled "kidproof". Good Luck
