• A:Answer To answer your question, mAh is milliamp hours. This can be calculated by using the following math: if you have a 3000 mAh battery, you can expect to get 100mA draw for about 30 hours, 10mA for 300 hours, 3,000mA for 1 hour. Amperage is watts divided by volts. The Canon battery is 7.2v and 875mAh. This one states it is 7.4v, so you can imagine slightly more mAh (as the wattage of the camera would be the same).
