• You do need to register the drone but there is no need for a pilot license

• Only if you want to fly at night, go over a certain altitude, or want to make money with your shots (yes, that includes monetized youtube videos)

• Since the Mavic Air 2 weighs over 250 grams it must be registered with the FAA. its a simple process only taking a couple of minutes. The registration costs either $5 or $15 for three years.
