Let me start off with mentioning that prior to purchasing this, I’d never bought anything more expensive than a 30$ micro drone. Despite the price, the Mavic Air 2 is infinitely easier to fly - with more bells and whistles than your cheapo micro drones! The remote controller feels really intuitive to use, and feels nice to hold. You don’t need to worry about unfolding or properly aiming antennas since they’re built into the controller and phone holder. I’m amazed on the reported range on this thing - on the 2nd day of owning the drone I had it flying a mile away from my house, and that’s not even close to the max transmission range it is capable of. The return to home (RTH) feature works like a charm, and returns the drones to the exact position I took off from - simply amazing. 4K video from a small portable device like this is amazing, and the 48mp camera takes outstanding pictures. I’m not any sort of a photography professional, but I’ve already had friends ask me how I edit my photos after pulling the raw files directly off and posting them. Battery time lines up pretty close to the stated ~34m flight time, depending on conditions and use. And the interface of the DJI fly app makes it easy to tell when you’re getting low and will auto RTH if needed. Batteries cost 115$ each, which makes the Fly More Combo immediately worth the extra $189 as you get two batteries and additional accessories along with it. I honestly couldn’t have imagined my first real drone experience going any smoother and enjoyable than it has since owning the Mavic Air 2!

Having extra batteries is so worth it to not be worried about missing any moments and to be able to fly it a lot longer when you are out and about. The camera and functions are incredible. Very safe for first time flyers. There are newer models out, and if you can afford it, go with the built in screen to the remote. It saves so much time and is much easier and faster to get the drone up into the air.

Best drone! Battery is better than last model. Easy to connect. Love the auto-fly features, especially the come back home so I can lose it. Would highly recommend for pros and amateurs. Amazing 4K quality photos and videos.

So I love this Mavic Air 2 for so many reasons. 1. Is Price 2. Is Size 3. Is the functionality. If you’re like me and you wanted the Mavic 2 PRO but didn’t want to pay that huge price and still get a lot of the same functions the Mavic 2 Pro has this is the one for you. I’m not a professional and I just enjoy flying and using it for fun purposes. Unlike the Mavic Mini, this has a better camera than the Mavic Mini and the Mavic Air 1. The Size and Weight allows into be carried around with ease and the wind won’t take this drone. 34 Min Flight time of course is subjective on what you’re doing but I’ve flown for about 30 min. The Bag with the Fly more is in my opinion the best bag they’ve made. I’ll have unboxing video posted to my YOUTUBE CHANNEL SOON! And FOOTAGE! @craignoicecube I don’t want to make this review too long but yea It’s better than the Mini and just as good as the Mavic 2 Pro. BEST THING is the Low-Noise Propellers and the Occu Sync instead of the WiFi connection. GET IT!

This is my 3rd drone from DJI, and by far the absolute best. I’ve owned a Spark and Mavic Pro prior to this Mavic Air 2. This thing is amazing. Period. The image quality is far superior to both of my previous drones. This drone seriously just has it all. Image quality, quick shots, unbelievable range, battery life is great, with a drone size that is small, yet big enough to withstand some pretty strong winds. I’m amazed by this little thing, especially at this price point. It may not be the Mavic 2 Pro, but there’s a lot of things that the Mavic Air 2 does better in my opinion. And this thing is half the price of the M2P. I am a real estate photographer, and I regularly have requests for aerial photos of property from clients. This drone is more than capable, and is my go to choice for work now. Don’t hesitate, just buy it.

First and foremost this is not a toy. Do not get this for your kid. Its closer to a camera and according to the FAA, this is an AIRCRAFT. There are certain rules you must follow while flying this. That being said. This thing is Incredible. The video quality is amazing. It's very easy to fly. It is feature-rich. DJI has an incredible support system. There is a service you can purchase through DJI which is basically Drone Insurance as long as you recover it. It will amaze your friends with breathtaking videos and pictures especially if you know how to edit. The quality is 2nd to none. If you are feeling frisky this is also a good entry-level drone to do commercial applications (making money) That will require a special FAA license though. Plenty of resources online in regards to that. I highly recommend this drone. ALSO, BUY THE FLY MORE COMBO. Its over $600 worth of accessories including batteries and extra propellers for about $200 dollars. You cannot go wrong with this

This is the perfect drone for the price point and features. I've not owned the Mavic Air 2 fly more combo very long, but I've flown it enough to know that this is an excellent drone setup. It's not professional level, but it's pretty close. It has a lot of the features of it's higher end counter parts, really good range and is pretty easy to pack around. It's larger than the Mavic Mini but smaller than a Mavic Pro 2. Takes great pictures and video, especially with the included ND filters so you can manually control the camera ISO and shutter speed without everything thats bright blowing out. I would recommend this for beginners and pro's for that middle ground and it's great to fly just for fun too!! I attached a 360 degree pano picture.

Drone has a battery life of 34 minutes, I bought the fly more combo so I get plenty of fly time plus 3 sets of wings. I am a first time flyer and I crashed the drone 3 times my first day (My fault for flying close to trees). Sensors will prevent crashes except there is no sensor on the top and sides of the drones. For more experienced flyers you can turn off sensors and raise maximum altitude. It is very easy to fly and I like the follow me feature. The drone will return itself home where it took off if it loses signal or battery gets low, I have tested this and always works great. I purchased Insurance from DJI which will cover 2 replacements for a small fee, so I have peace of mind when letting friends fly the drone. Highly recommend this drone.

WOW!! This is my 1st Drone and I absolutely love it!! Very responsive and looks super cool in hand and while flying through the air. The 1st time I flew it was after I charged up the batteries and controller. It was night time so I was a little hesitant but excited at the same time. When I turned the Drone and controller on, these lights on the Drone came on. When I took to the air it looked like an airplane with lights on the corners of the Drone. There was even a bright light on the underside that illuminated it's take off/landing spot. I took it up pretty high and if I was a neighbor I would have thought it was a small UFO. This beautiful craft was very responsive and pretty easy to fly. I took it to the park the next day and really tested it. I took this thing so high into the air I almost lost sight of it, sane thing when I flew it over a large pond to the other side to film some Geese that were in the water. I was soooo scared to do that because I kept thinking "what if it drops into the water?". Great thing is it didn't. Not only did I flw over to the other side, I also descended just a few feet over the water to get some really good video 9f the Geese. After flying about 25 minutes or so, I got a verbal warning that my battery was getting low and the Drone would be returning home. I bought the fly more bundle so I got extra batteries, propellers, filters, carrying bag and a few other extras. I would say it's well worth the price. One thing I also noticed is, the 1st time I turned it on and flew it was in my house. Because of the sensors, it wouldn't let me fly too much. The sensors were going crazy alerting me to possible collisions. I guess my living room isn't big enough lol. So far I'm EXTREMELY impressed with this Drone. It feels like a professional piece of equipment. There are tutorial videos u can watch to teach you everything about your new "Big Boy Toy". I absolutely love this Drone and can't wait until I master all the incredible features. Great Job!!

If I could give it 6 stars, I would. Perfect is not an exaggeration here. I constantly tell people that it's the best thousand bucks I've ever spent. You can't possibly know how much fun you'll have with this thing unless you've owned a drone before. The camera quality is simply stunning and I attached a screenshot of unedited footage as an example. The only drawback for me is that it doesn't have obstacle avoidance sensors on the top and the sides like the Mavic Pro II, but the Pro II is also 700 more dollars. So if that's what I have to give up to save 700 bucks, then so be it. I will stress one thing, make SURE to get some kind of insurance coverage for it. Because there's nothing that feels quite like watching a thousand bucks fly off into the sunset never to be seen again. For the record, that was due to pilot error and happened with the original Mavic Air, not the Air 2, but I digress. Buy the DJI care refresh package as well, your future self will thank you for it. And I also bought a State Farm policy for the whole year for just 60 bucks. That protects me against loss or theft which the DJI plan does not. Now dig out those 10 or 11 Benjamins and go have some fun!

The best drone I have ever flown, 30+ minute flight time, great camera with 4K video recording, has the ability to follow you and lots of other cool stuff. Flys great in high winds, but battery will drain faster. My advice is to buy the fly more combo as you'll need the extra batteries and accessories. If your looking for a great drone, look no further! This one just does the job for the price, you won't be disappointed! Highly recommend

I have -0- drone experience and after a lot of YouTube research, I pulled the trigger on this preorder. It arrived earlier than the release date, which was awesome! With the person tracking, obstacle avoidance and warning sounds, this thing has all the protections needed for where I am flying. Getting the FAA/Drone ID and Airspace authorizations in my area (near small airports) has been easy, making this an even better experience. My 10 year old also has no issues controlling the drone, whether on the street or in a field. Actually, I'm the slow one when it comes to control. The bag that the Fly More package comes with, is a bit snug for my liking, so I picked up a hard shell case - but people have been pretty critical, as "they say" this is supposed to be a compact, unobtrusive, easy to bring with you drone - but as my first, it doesn't matter to me. Each battery is almost an hour and a half to charge when run down to nothing, but I typically run it to 15%, or when the auto-return-to-home happens. I haven't timed it, but I do get around a half an hour per battery and with 3 ... lots of time to fly. The features are great - it can do lots of cool stunts that makes it seem like you're an amazing pilot. I was using a Pixel 4XL as a dedicated phone (no phone service) to interact with it and I haven't had any issues. I've also picked up a helipad for landing / take-off, especially when the grass is higher and it's been a great addition. Finally, I used the DJI Refresh care and tied it to my account as soon as I activated the drone. I found the offering here a bit ... pricey. We've had lots of great hours with this already and I can't wait for more!

This is worth every single penny. The flight controls are idiot proof. The camera provides incredibly sharp video with outstanding image stabilization whether hovering still or flying around. If it gets out of range it automatically returns to range. The DJI app walks you through setting up and has basic flying instruction to get you in the air quick. This is a perfect 5/7. Would buy again

First of all the Mavic Air 2 is amazing! The quality and sophistication of this drone is out of this world. Tons of fun to fly. And lots more to learn from this thing. Getting the Fly More Combo is a no-brainer because you are receiving over $500 worth of equipment for $200. Great savings and most of the equipment that comes with it is very important, especially the two extra batteries which alone cost over $200.

This is my first drone and I am incredibly happy with it so far. The flight time is about 30 minutes per battery, tho it does dip down to 25 minutes when the weather is over 90°. Otherwise, everything is exactly as advertised and described and it can take some amazing pictures while staying super stable in high winds. I find it very easy to fly and I had never flown a drone until this arrived.

Ok so I really didnt think this was going to be all that they were claiming and I never liked the origional Mavic Air becuase out of all the Mavics, the origional Mavic Air, didnt even look like a Mavic. I owned a drone from every series and I had to puase becuase I loved the Mavic Mini becuase compared to the Mavic Pro, i could fly more places with it, without being worried that i would hit something, and I was more comfident with the Mini around people, I guess cuz it was so cute, were as the Platinum(Mavic Pro) was bigger, a little scarier to fly threw tight foledge, or get closer to people with the sound more intimedating to people also. DJI met up in the middle and gave all the features, better features than the Pro and downsized it towards the Minis size, and "poof"! Mavic Air 2. The genes of the origional style won out and it looks like a recognizable Mavic, nobody recoginized the air, the one was a waste of time.it also has the feel of quality, not built as plasticky as the Mavic Mini, a more solid feel like the Pro, and a decent weight. IM IMPRESSED. If toj were waiting for a perfect drone, this is one to get people. Its the Goldie Locks symex, "Not to big, and not to small, just right!" With probBly the best specifacations to date. I cant recharge my batteries fast enough. My word of advise, "Buy It!" Get the Fly More Combo if you can! Quick before they all Fly Away.

So I recently gotten the Mavic Mini before getting the Air 2. Wow! What a difference. Both hold strong for what it cost no doubt, but the extra features in the Air 2 for double the cost is justifiable enough for me. Now there is one downside but it didn’t really effect me, you have to register this drone through FAA because of the weight of the quad is over 250g. Now for the great features, we’ll just do a little more digging or just check out a few random reviews on YouTube and you’ll see lol. It’s hands down one of the best drones I’ve ever flown which isn’t a ton but enough to know it’s definitely quality. Especially that price!!! Oh yeah get the Fly More Combo, you’ll thank me later. Flight time per battery is an amazing 34min, so you’ll want that extra hour trust me. Plus you get very nice shoulder bag, extra props, charger, battery charging hub, and ND filters 16,64,256 and worth every extra $200! Okay I think I made my point. So yeah for me, I think it’s a better beginners drone and all around drone for under $1000...
