• I haven’t heard of altitude affecting anything. You can only fly 400’ above your point of take off legally

• It is capable of flying thousands of feet in the air but legally you can only fly to 400 feet in the US. Battery life is great for it's features. I usually get about 20-25 minutes per battery depending on wind speed and which features I'm using.

• Not in the mountains but husband flew for over 25 minutes while videoing the whole time. He was impressed. The drone he bought many years ago never flew that long
