- Answer Review this site: https://www.faa.gov/uas/recreational_fliers/ For recreational purposes you just need to register the drone. No license necessary unless it will be used for commercial purposes.

- Answer You will have to check with local law enforcement or ships regulations. As far as getting insurance, DJI offers a year-long plan that permits two replacements.

- Answer As soon as they are sold out, I believe. And, this model may be discontinued soon, with no replacement available. The Mavic Pro Platinum is also marked down, and will probably disappear from the market along with the Mavic Air. Only the Mavic 2 Zoom and Mavic 2 Pro will be sold from this time forward, but this is only my observation. Since the release of the "Mavic Mini" or "Spark 2" is only a rumor and possibly a hoax, it is looking like DJI is exiting the consumer drone market. If you want a Mavic Air or Pro Platinum, get it NOW while it is still available for a reasonable price!

- Answer Yes. It comes with several adapters, including Apple. Mine came set up for the new style Apple cord, had to swap it out immediately after unboxing.

- Answer A standard warranty against manufacturing defects is included. I recommend buying DJI's support programs. As long as you can send them a box of parts, they'll replace it.

QuestionHello and thanks in advance for any help, I bought a dji spark a couple days ago and cant get past getting camera view on phone screen. I cant get to the calibration menu on my phone in the "Go Fly" and maybe that's why it wont fly.

- Answer Where you see the message scrolling across at the top of the screen just click on it and it will pull up the menu. Then once your done doing the calibrations click the take off button and have fun.
