Dear customer, Thank you for your inquiry. Please note that this combo comes with the DJI RC. You don't need to use your mobile phone. Besides, having internet service is not necessary to fly the drone. However, the internet connection will be needed when in terms of updating your DJI Drone such as DJI Fly application, DJI flight safe database and downloading offline maps.
