Please try again later.I don’t think so because i have put dead batteries in and they stay red when i try to use them, it does help to charge all three at once when plugged in and shows their battery life through red, orange, or green lights so that’s what i like about it.

Please try again later.no, the case itself does not hold a charge. it has to be plugged-in in order to charge the batteries. it will show you a light with the battery status without having to be plugged in. The case can also act as a power bank when it has charged batteries so you can charge things like your phone.
