“What is the lifetime of the built in battery and can it be replaced or is the unit done when the batteries lifetime is up? Does it have to be sent to DJI to replace battery?”

There is no removable battery for this product
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.The lifetime is probably like most of the other camera batteries. Dji will replace the built in battery once the battery doesn't hold the charge. But I wouldn't worry about it for at least 3 years!
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Mine lasts about 2 hours off continuous filming... battery is sealed and cannot be user replaced. If anything happens to the battery, it would be a DJI service event. Not sure how long lithium ions are rated for, but I bet it would be obsoleted before you have to worry about the batteries failing (just like cell phones these days)
