The discreption said it comes with a simple carry case. Does that mean it comes with the original carry case as seen at the dji website? Thank you null

It comes with the stock hard protector case that comes in the box, not a different or third party case.

Yes. When camera is turned off it sets the camera to fit in the case

It has 2 different options for a case. 
1. the case it comes with is a hard case that fits the camera perfectly and does an awesome job protecting it. ( IT was the one they showed on the DJI live event) 
2. the second case will be a external charger case where while its in the case it will be able to charge. This one is not out yet.
