Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.You don't need an id to buy it in stores like a drone because the device can't fly. It's very small and you need to hold it. You do need the phone app to set it up. After that, you can use the device without your phone but there are some extra functions that are only available using the phone app. So if your goal is to take videos on the move, then you don't need the phone app. You do need to use both of your hands when the device is connected to your phone.
