It would be great for any trip, but considering that it is sensitive like many cameras, I would get the waterproof case for it to protect it from the sand and possible contact with water. Also, I recommend investing in the 2-year insurance. You never know what may happen. Have a great trip!
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. When it comes to beach, sand, and water I’d definitely stay clear. I love this camera but you should invest in the go pro. While it’s cheap. That way you aren’t out over 350 because you’ll want to use your cell phone. I would not plan on the insurance working on it failing.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.SHOULD NOT BE A PROBLEM UNLESS YOU ARE CARELESS. THE CONSTRUCTION IS GOOD. YOU WOULD NEED TO BE CAREFULL ABOUT NOT SCRATCHING THE LENS OR SCREEN. YOU CAN GET A FILTER TO COVER THE LENS OR THE COVER THAT COVERS THE LENS AND SCREEN. LOOK IN THE ACCESSORIES FOR THE POCKET.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I think it would be fine as long as you are careful. When the waterproof housing is released it would definitly be fine in that
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I do not think that getting sand in this gimbal would be a good thing. Even so, I would take it to the beach because it is awesome. I love using it and use it almost everyday. Perhaps investigate some of the cases that you can get to protect it and be careful with it. I am thinking that the water proof case would be good for sand plus get those underwater shots...sounds cool to me :-) Also, I am not sure about this, but perhaps compressed air would suffice to clean out any sand that gets stuck in the wrong place if it does. Hope that helps :-)
