By itself it can be stood upright. But it will fall over with the lightest touch. You can use an adapter to put a small tripod which is what I use. If you're sure nothing will knock it over, than you can just stand it up by itself.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.The base of the Osmo Pocket can stand on its own as long as it sits on a flat level surface. DJI also sells tripods and accessories for the unit if you are looking for something more stable.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.It will stand on its own, however, it's not real stable if whatever its standing on gets bumped. The larger footprint of the wifi base provides better stability.
