How many amps does the USB port supply? null

It took some digging around but what i was able to find is. 5V 0.55A. So basically it will take forever to charge almost any device.

0.5 Amps, which is hardly enough to charge anything. If it does charge, it will probably be slow. The amperage is not even on the packaging, but is written on the charger in very small print.
