I really doubt your tablet has a DisplayPort connection, so this adapter is probably not what you need. Your tablet most likely has USB-C, which requires a USB-C to HDMI adapter. If you have a 4K TV, make sure you get one that supports 4K. If you had said what model of tablet you have, I could say for sure what kind of output it has.
