• This question was asked in different ways for this dongle. Here is my answer, repeated here in case you didn't see it in the other places: Considering the age of this question, I hope you know the answer already, but for those who don't, here it is: No. HDMI cables may be bidirectional, but ports are usually unidirectional. The exception is HDMI ARC (HDMI Audio Return Channel), which laptops do not have (at least not yet), and are only found on the more pricey monitors or TVs. You would need to connect your PS4 to a monitor or TV.
