• No it’s a full size male DisplayPort on one end and a female HDMI port on the other end. I use it to connect a monitor to my work computer that doesn’t have an HDMI output.

• No, this adapter is DisplayPort to HDMI. This product works if your computer has a DisplayPort and your monitor has an HDMI input.
