“I have a Surface with mini DP driving my old HDMI monitor. I bought a new monitor that only has the DP socket. Can I use this adapter to connect my MiniDP to HDMI cable to the Female DP socket to drive my new monitor. TIA”

• This adapter only works in one direction; HDMI out.

• This adapter does not work for computers with Mini DisplayPort and it does not work for monitors with DisplayPort.
