- Answer Hi PB, this is Kelly with Dyson. Unfortunately, you will not be able to use Dyson Airwrap™ attachments with Dyson Supersonic™ hairdryer attachments because they have different attachment mechanism. The Dyson Supersonic™ hairdryer uses magnetic attachments, while the Airwrap™ barrels use a lock in mechanism. It's also worth noting, Dyson Supersonic™ is for those who want fast drying and smooth, controlled styling with techniques and additional tools such as a brush, While the Dyson Airwrap™ styler is for those who want the versatility of a styler to create curls and waves or a smooth finish. QuestionHow does the Dyson Airwrap Small Round Volumizing Brush attach to my Dyson hairdryer ? I have a model number 5005306. I don't see any way to remove the top of my hairdryer to attach the Volumizing Brush to it. Is there a button I press? Do I twist it?

- Answer Hi Gracie, this is Kelly with Dyson. Airwrap tools are not compatible with the Supersonic hair dryer and vice versa. The tools have different attachment mechanisms. The Dyson Supersonic™ hairdryer uses magnetic attachments, while the Airwrap™ barrels use a lock in mechanism.
