• it does not produce cold air just moves the air as a traditional fan would, it does produce hot air to heat a room.

• No, this fan is simply a mover of air. Since a room with no A/C has both hot and cooler areas, this fan can be used to circulate the air to break up hot zones and establish a somewhat cooler sensation...

• It has a "jet direct" feature which blows a stream of cool air directly on you in a linear fashion rather than spreading the air out through the entire room. It is NOT an air conditioner and will NOT cool a room significantly.

• As far as I can tell, it's just like a regular fan that looks different. The air doesn't seem any cooler than the average fan. Side by side with a regular fan the air felt exactly the same temperature.

• Moving air assists your body sweating efficiently. I read somewhere that moving air makes the perceived temperature 4 degrees cooler.
