Hello there, this is Kelly with Dyson. The cost to run our AM09 would vary, depending on the cost of electricity in your local municipality. In heat mode the machine uses 1500 watts of power and in fan mode it's 30 watts. The electricity consumption would also vary depending on the fan level (1-10) and the set temperature you have the machine set on. Best wishes, Kelly Dyson Customer Support
