“My dyson is brand new but it keeps shutting down the surge protector power strip after one round of heat (on 72F). Is it malfunctioning? Anyone else with the same issue?”

My Dyson is plugged into a wall outlet. It will turn on once, reach target, shut down, and then never turn back on. What am i doing wrong?

If it's been in heat mode for 9 continuous hours, the machine will shut itself off as a safety mechanism. The unit will also stop blowing heated air, once the machine reaches the target room temperature. We would also recommend plugging the unit directly in to your wall outlet, rather than a power strip or extension cord.
