While Dyson says no (likely for liability reasons), it is possible to use with a smart outlet adapter. I have used with a TPLink Kasa Smart Wi-Fi Outdoor Plug (EP40/EP40A) that is a 15A rated outlet adapter. The Dyson Hot + Cool will likely not work with outlets rated below that as many do not provide 15A. While this particular outlet adapter has two outlets, I would not recommend plugging anything in the second outlet that requires anything but a minimum power draw. Keep in mind that the Dyson Hot + Cool HP01 does not support resume after a power outage, so you will still need to use the remote control or the button on the device to resume operation.
