• Hello there, this is Kelly with Dyson. You can place your Dyson Pure Hot + Cool air purifier on your carpeting. You will want to make sure that your flooring is an even surface, so while in oscillation mode, your machine oscillates smoothly. You will want to be sure, however, that you keep your machine away from furniture, drapes, ie: anything flammable, while using in heat mode. Best wishes, Kelly Dyson Customer Support

• We have used in the living room and bedroom on carpet with no problems. Ensure your heater is clear or furniture or drapes.
