A:AnswerNot at all. This unit has never been hot to the touch for me. Been using it for at least 3 months now through the winter months. It also shuts off when the room reaches the desired/set temperature.

A:AnswerHello LB, this is Kelly with Dyson. The Dyson Pure Hot+Cool™ purifier fan removes a range of contaminants from the air. It purifies to remove 99.97% of allergens and pollutants as small as 0.3 microns from the home. It also removes pollen, mold, pet dander and odors such as cigarette smoke and cooking smells. Anything removed from the air, will get trapped within the sealed filter.

A:AnswerHello,
This is Miella from Dyson. Dyson purifiers are proven to capture particles as small as viruses with our HEPA filters. However, we haven't tested with the COVID-19 virus specifically. We highly recommend using purification if you can as many of us are spending much more time inside our homes, generating indoor pollution from cooking, cleaning, from wood-burning stoves etc. and purifiers can remove those pollutants from the indoor environment. When it comes to minimizing the risk of getting COVID, following government and public health guidance is imperative.
Hope this helps!

A:AnswerYes. I have 2 different Dyson. Neither are this one, but they have done a good job filtering all particulates. My favorite is the Cryptonic with humidity. That did reduce the AQI from above 200 to 90 in 1 day by itself. My house is 1800 sq ft. Amazed me. Recommend you get one and keep it going, The other brands I had required that I be within 3 feet.
A:AnswerHello there, this is Kelly with Dyson. The HEPA filter is included in the box when you purchase the HP01 Pure Hot + Cool.

A:AnswerHi there, this is Kelly with Dyson. If you're using the HP01 in heat mode, it'll draw 1500 watts. We do recommend plugging your purifier directly in to a wall outlet, where you do not have other high-powered machines plugged in.
