“Does the fan stay on the setting you apply? I need a consistent fan noise to sleep, but I would also really benefit from the humidifying feature of this machine. I would not be able to use it if it shuts off or goes from quiet to loud periodically.”

• Hi there, this is Kelly with Dyson. You can turn the machine on in fan mode, and it will stay on until you shut it off. This machine also has the ability to just work as a fan, with the humidity function turned off. Best wishes, Kelly Dyson Customer Support

• Hi Megabit, I've had this since 3/29/21 and a different model Dyson fan years ago. Both have settings where you can set it on auto, or a fix speed of your choosing.
