Hi Pepe, this is Kelly with Dyson. Our Supersonic hair dryer contains PTFE and Teflon which are the chemical elements that make those unsafe for birds. The PH01 Pure Humidify + Cool doesn't have any type of heating element, so this machine would not contain that, therefore being safe for your bird. Best wishes, Kelly Dyson Customer Support
