Hello Michael, this is Kelly with Dyson. The Dyson Pure Cool Link and Pure Hot + Cool purifier fan will clean the air in any size room. The bigger the room, the longer the machine will take to purify it as there is more air in the atmosphere. For instance in a room of 139ft², the machine will purify the room in 25 min. The more windows and doors you have in a room, the longer it'll take to purify the air completely. The recommend room size for this machine is 400 sq. ft. Best wishes, Kelly Dyson Customer Support
