• Hello JW, this is Kelly with Dyson. The Dyson Lightcycle Morph™ light has two on-board sensors to maintain light quality and save energy: an Ambient light sensor constantly monitors brightness on the task plane. If there’s a change in background light, it gently adjusts light levels to keep your space at a constant brightness. And an Infra-red movement sensor switches the light on when you're near, and off once you've been away for two minutes. Also, since the light bulb maintains light for 60 years, there are no bulbs that need to be replaced like with other lights. It is energy efficient (A+) in general operation and includes an energy-saving motion senses that switches off the light when no one is around.
