“I am confused as to which stick to buy. I want it mainly for hardwood floors and about 15% carpet. I want lightweight and the noise level to be low. I do not want it to scratch the floors if it has rollers. I want it to pick up animal hair.”

I use Dyson V11 mainly for hardwood floors and can’s see any scratches. That’s perfect for animal hair. I also have Roomba that is more noisy than Dyson.

If you have any bare floors and have concerns over using a spinning brush bar, you'll either want to opt for an Absolute model cord-free, or purchase the soft roller head separately, for the V11 Animal.
