i hope you got a replacement since it was under warranty. After the warranty runs out, get a 3rd party battery as they fit exactly and you can get 25% to 50+% more run time. just look at the rating on the battery. my original V6 was 2000 mAh battery and I now have a 4000 mAh battery that gets almost double the run time at high power. (and it cost less the a new battery from Dyson)
