If it's bagless, where does dirt go? null

The dirt collects in a cylinder the quickly and easily dumps into the trash. Effortless.

But how does it keep the dirt in the canister without being blown out? Is it because of the cyclone action that keep the dirt locked to the side like a centerfuge and it can't get to the exit? I don't understand.

Into the clear circular container under the motor. The bottom opens and the dirt falls out. (Do that over a trash can...)

In a canister like the regular dyson uprights

Hi there! This is Carissa with Dyson. The dirt travels from the cleaner head into the wand and then into the clear bin, cyclone and our filtration system. There is a red lever to release the bin into a receptacle.

The dirt goes in the back by the suction it's a plastic container section and you can view what you are picking up. You can empty it, by releasing the hatch an dumping the contents in the garbage bag it's very easy an non messy
