You definitely have to lean it against something. It is top heavy and the ball hinge is most of what it is sitting on. It comes with a cradle of you are able to hang things on the wall.

It definitely does NOT stand on its' own. The power head is easily removed from the floor head/extension tube.
Makes charging easier in my view.

The vacuum has a holder that you can attach to the wall but I don't use it. I just lean it against the wall. A floor stand would be useful.

It doesn't stand on its own. You need to pro it on a wall, rod hang it back on charger.

Oh you're good don't worry! It comes with an awesome wall mount. It does take a drill for installation but once you find a good spot with a stud you're good. Oh and make sure there's a wall and outlet close by the stud you choose!!

It does not stand on its own. You have to lean it or lay on floor. It's very lightweight that I never let go of it while I vacuum.
