• Hello John, This is Dan with Dyson. The V6 Motorhead comes with a direct-drive cleanerhead that offers about 75% more power than this V6 variant. For this reason, the V6 Motorhead is more suited for households that are mostly carpeted or feature higher pile carpeting. Best wishes, Dan
