Is this good on Shag carpet? null

Hi Glen, this is Kelly with Dyson. The Dyson V7 Animal has a direct-drive cleaner head, with a spinning brush bar. Depending on the length of the carpeting fibers, you may find that the brush bar senses the carpeting as an obstruction, which will "jam" the brush bar or stop it from spinning, to prevent the motor from overheating.
