“Hi—Can I buy an attachment for bare floors to add to the V8 Animal? I heard that after 6 months the motorized spin brush can leave marks and scratches on wood floors- I figured since they are the same vacuum cleaner, you may have a bare floor attachment.”

I do not know about additional attachments but I can tell you I use this on wood, time and carpet and have had no issues with marks on my wood floor.

We do recommend checking the wheels and brush bar prior to vacuuming, you would want to make sure the brush and wheels are clear of debris. If the wheels move freely and the brush is clear we do not anticipate any issues. Our soft roller for bare floors only comes with the Absolute units. The Dyson cleaner heads are designed to seal to the flooring for optimal suction, they can be used on bare floors, but the soft roller works better at picking up bigger debris.
