• This is only a vacuum not a wet mop... I use it on tile, wood and carpet, it is an amazing vacuum, lots of suction and so easy to use and keep charged for convenience. I would highly recommend it to anyone.

• Hello Nika, this is Kelly with Dyson. You can use the V8 Animal cord-free on both carpeting, tile and hardwood floors. It features two suction modes and a spinning brush bar to efficiently pick up pet hair. The only thing it won't do, unfortunately is wet mop. Best wishes, Kelly Dyson Customer Support
