• NO !! I just returned my V8 Motorhead. Look what it did to my vinyl plank flooring, My old Dyson DC 59 never did this.

• There is a hard floor attachment that you can get that will do a better job at cleaning the not carpet floors but the normal vacuum head will work just fine.

The direct-drive cleaner head is powerful enough to pick up debris from your carpeting, but also gentle enough for most hard floor surfaces. If you have any concerns over your vinyl tile, you may prefer a model like the V8 Absolute, which comes with a soft roller head. This cleaner head was designed especially for bare floors. • yupper doodles... but you must wear the high class french maid uniform while doing it... the brushes are soft and your luxury floor should not scratch from a vacuum. no worries
