• Hi there, this is Kelly with Dyson. There are 2 filters on the V8 Animal - the pre-motor filter which is the cone shape filter that sits in the cyclone. The post-motor filter is the blue piece that twists on to the back of the main body. You shouldn't need to replace the filters as they are washable. However replacement parts are usually available at Dyson retailers or direct on the Dyson website. Best wishes, Kelly Dyson Customer Support
