Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Yes, you can dock it anywhere near an outlet. I have mine installed on the wall in our mud room. Honestly though, I wouldn’t waste your time or money purchasing this vacuum. It doesn’t hold a charge for more than 20 minutes and I’ve only used it twice and it will no longer charge at all. Research suggests it’s the battery, however, the battery should not be bad after two uses. It’s brand new. I was personally extremely disappointed.

The charger cord will thread behind the dock, with one end plugging in to your electrical outlet, and the other end with the charger pin snapping in to the dock to make contact with the machine. The use of the dock is optional, you can opt to charge the machine using just the charger, omitting the dock. Best wishes, Kelly Dyson Customer Support
