• Hi there, this is Kelly with Dyson. The Dyson V7 and V8 Animals are the same, with the exception of suction and run time. The V7 offers 100 air watts of suction, with up to 30 minutes of run time. The V8 has 115 air watts of suction power and up to 40 minutes of run time. The tools included with each will be the same. Best wishes, Kelly Dyson Customer Support
