- Answer As long as the vehicle is not equipped with the auto start/stop feature, it will work in a 2017 Murano

QuestionMy Thinkware Q1000 Front & Rear Dash Cam with the Radar option will not go into parking mode using the EchoMaster OBD2 cable. I have installed and re-installed the cable at least 5 times and replaced the IGN-3 twice with no success using the parking mode

- Answer Depending on the vehicle and the information the IGN-3 is getting from the OBDII connection in the vehicle, you may need to use the hardwire kit for parking mode to work. While the HWK-TW01 OBD cable works in many applications, it does not work in all applications due to some vehicles having CAN gateways at or prior to the OBDII connector.

- Answer Unfortunately, this will not work in hybrid applications. You would need to have the X1000 installed with the hardwire kit.

QuestionDoes the OBD cable have a switch to kill the power out? Like if parking in long term parking or in a garage for a extended period so you don't drain the battery?

- Answer There is no switch on the unit for powering it off. It would be recommended to disconnect from the vehicle's OBDII port when leaving the vehicle for extended periods of time.

QuestionThe park feature settings is enabled on my cam settings but park feature won’t enable. The camera stays continuous the whole time while the car is off. Geek squad installed the dash cam. It is possible the wire kit is defective?

- Answer I would recommend you take it back to the Autotech for testing. They can reach our Tech Support at 727-592-5991 M-F 9am-8pm and we can figure out what the issue is.
