• The easiest way, I feel would be to wire it to the license plate light. Yes it will stay on as long as the light is on, but you will never wonder just how close the A-hole is behind you!!!

• There will not be wires visible in the back (bumper area) because all the wires go behind the bumper. There is a power cable that goes from the power outlet inside the car (cigarette lighter or 12v outlet) to the monitor. That will be visible.
