• Hi Buddy. Thank you for your question! While the eero 6 router does have a USB-C port, it is only used for power. The gateway/primary eero can only connect to a modem via an Ethernet cable. I hope this information helps. Have a great day!

• The USB-C port on an eero is used for the AC adapter. For internet access the head/primary eero needs to be plugged in using an ethernet cable. The eero will, once it is setup, generate a wifi network for your computer to connect to.
