It likely would. You just need to be sure that the points are not too far apart from each other or the mesh network won't work well. But WiFi can normally penetrate standard brick walls, especially if there's a point nearby.

If you put the main hub router on one side of the wall and one of the satellites on the other side of the wall you should be able to get reasonable connectivity but the wi-fi speeds will not be the same. The wi-fi devices that connect to the hub should be much faster than the devices that connect to the satellite that has to connect through the wall to the hub.
