In most cases, no, the Beacon being a dual band on a network with tri band eero will not slow the whole network down, you just won't get the fast speeds on the Beacon. The only time it does is when the beacon is used as a link between two eero pro (so for example, we have the gateway eero pro, and the beacon is in between it and another eero Pro, the remote eero pro has to go through the beacon for signal, so it gets the slower signal. in this case reverse that last eero Pro and the beacon so the beacon is the end point).
