The white mug does, but I haven’t seen that with the black mug.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.If you use a metal spoon in the mug, there is a 90% chance that it will start to peel inside. Mine started doing this after using a teaspoon in it to stir my drink about 6 mos ago (I had my mug for a year prior to using a spoon in it ) and I ended up tossing it and getting a new one. Ember doesn't recommend this as stated in the user guide an website: "For best results, we recommend using a wooden or silicone spoon to stir as a metal spoon can damage the Ember's coating."
