• I let it charge overnight so it was ready first thing in the morning

• Hi there! Thanks for reaching out. We recommend placing the Ember on the charging coaster before the first use. To indicate it is charging, it will pulse red slowly. Once fully charged, it will turn solid green. This can take up to 3 hours.
