• We are happy to hear about your interest in Ember! The Ember is designed to keep beverages at a preferred temp for a period of time. With that said, we would not recommend adding food to the Ember as it was not designed for this feature. We can certainly share the feedback with our team!

• I have no idea. would not a small crockpot be better and more efficient? Also one plug and no worries about connectivity with your phone or damage to the mug or coaster.
